Introducing the Endowment and Charity Affairs Organization
The organization's basic duties:
Policy-making to transform holy sites into the cultural hub of the country
Policy-making to increase the productivity of endowments
Supervision of the faithful practice of endowments
Policy-making to promote the culture of endowments and enter its new areas
Policy-making to manage the affairs of general endowments (faqdamtuli), Islamic religious places (except mosques, religious schools and takayas) and charitable institutions (under the supervision of the organization)
Policy-making and supervision of the preparation and compilation of the organization's strategic plans
Supervision of the correct implementation of the intentions of the endowments
Constructive interaction and establishment of effective communication with the three powers, other cultural organizations and institutions of the country in order to expand and strengthen the organization's missions
Policy-making, guidance and supervision of the organization's duties and missions in economic, endowment, cultural, social, legal, registration and development matters of endowments, holy sites and religious places
Supervision of the preparation and regulation of the organization's annual budget and submission to the relevant authorities for approval
Supervision of the formation of investigation committees and branches to handle legal and audit matters Endowments
Supervision of the boards of trustees of endowments and Islamic religious sites
Supervision and management of competitions for memorizing, reciting, and interpreting the Holy Quran at the domestic and international levels and generalizing the education of the Holy Quran among the strata of society
Supervision of sending missionaries to deprived and needy areas of the country based on the intentions of the endowments
Policy-making and supervision of the preparation, arrangement, and conclusion of contracts of the organization and relevant units
Supervision of the printing and publication of the Holy Quran, Islamic books, and publications based on the intentions of the endowments
Supervision of the proper receipt of endowment rights (such as the right of custody, the right of supervision, and the right of intervention) according to the provisions of the endowment letters, laws, and regulations
Policy-making for the qualitative improvement of the University of Quranic Sciences and Holy Quran Education
Policy-making and supervision of the preparation and implementation of all comprehensive plans for endowments, culture, and sacred sites in the organization
Planning to improve the spiritual and cultural level of women at the organization level
Coherent planning to increase the participation of women in the society in developing the endowment culture and improving the level of knowledge Women pilgrims to the Holy Shrines
