Mahmoud Afshar Yazdi, the son of Mohammad Sadegh, was born in Yazd in 1272. At the age of thirteen, he lost his mother, and was sent to Mumbai in India to study with his uncle Muhammad Taqi. In India, he learned the basics of new sciences, English language; After three years, he came to Tehran and studied at the political science school. At the age of nineteen, he went to Switzerland with the intention of continuing his education and in seven years in Lausanne, he completed his bachelor's and doctorate in law and received a doctorate degree from the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Lausanne. Because the days of his stay in Europe coincided with the end of the First World War and the issue of the 1919 agreement was discussed, he wrote articles in Swiss newspapers in defense of Iran's rights. [1] During this period, a friendship and closeness was established between him and Ali Akbar Davar, who was also studying in Switzerland, which continued throughout his life.
